Su Chan was an unseen character in Neighbours and the mother of Ling Mai Chan.
Biography[]
In 1963, a young Hong Kong medical student Su Chan met Australian Lou Carpenter while he was holidaying in Hong Kong. Lou and Su had a romance in 1963 when he was 21. Lou returned to Australia without Su after she rejected his offer to come back with him.
Ling Mai was told about her father and his name so 30 years after her parents split, Ling decided to track Lou down.
