Laura Dennison was a character in Neighbours in 1986 and the younger sister of Helen Daniels and mother of Nikki Dennison. Laura was played by Carole Skinner.

Backstory[]
Laura Simpson was born in 1944. She was the much younger sister of Helen Simpson who later wed Bill Daniels.
One day, Helen was away and her best friend Grace Barnett had a one night stand with Bill Daniels. Laura Dennison knew this and banished Grace from Erinsborough. Grace emigrated to England. Helen always wondered why Grace had left the area so suddenly without telling anyone. Only Laura knew the truth.
Laura married Tom Dennison and they had a daughter Nikki Dennison in 1969. When Tom died, Laura sent Nikki to boarding school and this did not please Nikki, and their mother daughter relationship became strained.

Laura arrived in Erinsborough in 1986 to see her daughter Nikki who was not happy to see her.
