Ernest Alfred "Ernie" Bourne, was an English born Australian television and theatre actor who played Rob Lewis from 1987 to 1989.

Ernie Bourne was born on the 1st August 1926 in Dorset, England. he served in the British Navy during WWII before emigrating to Australia. He was known of this early guest appearances on Prisoner, before taking on the more permanent role as chef Mervin Pringle
