Synopsis[]
At The Daniels Corporation, Paul Robinson and Jane Harris discuss her gran Mrs Mangel's divorce settlement. Paul says that while her lawyer told her she has a good case of winning, Len Mangel's lawyer may have said the same to him. At No 26 Ramsay Street, Todd Landers and Katie Landers argue and Jim Robinson walks in on them and reprimands them. Jim hears that Todd was rude to Harold Bishop and wants Todd to say sorry. Todd refuses and storms out. At No 32 Ramsay Street, Harold puts his foot in it with Mrs Mangel who is nervous about the divorce settlement. Todd says he bought some milkshakes and when he looked at the doughnuts, Harold took them away, thinking Todd was going to take them. Todd says he was not going to take them. Jim has to fix a walkman. Mrs Mangel worries about losing her house. Paul and Mike Young suggest Des comes to The Waterhole, Lassiters with them. Des agrees. At The Waterhole, Jim, Mike and Paul are chatting away but Des just stares at his pint. Henry Ramsay brings them 2 drivers beers. Henry tells a joke. Des is in no joking mood so leaves. Beverley Marshall is babysitting Jamie. The nest morning, Todd and Katie argue as usual. Jim says Jamie was awake all night. At No 28 Ramsay Street Des is depressed, no change there. Mike babysits Jamie when Des goes out. Mike tells Bev that he is going to make Des see sense and accept that Daphne Clarke is dead. Mrs Mangel is ready for court. She is sure to win. She has written a letter which she will use as her secret weapon to try and keep No 32. Mike follows Des to the cemetery but Des says if he does not back off he will flatten him.
