David Clencie is an Australian actor and voice artist who played Danny Ramsay from 1985 to 1986 and again in 2005 for one episode. David now concentrates on acting as a voiceover for TV.

Pre Neighbours career[]

Neighbours[]

Originally, Jason Donovan was offered the role in late 1984 but his father, Terence Donovan, a future Neighbours star himself, wanted Jason to finish school so the role was given to David Clencie. David's final scenes as Danny aired in July 1986.

He had roles in Stingers and Blue Heelers. David appeared not to have any TV roles until 2001, and now works mainly as a voice over artist.

Brief return to Neighbours in 2005[]

In 2005, David made a brief return to Neighbours as Danny Ramsay in a cameo where Annalise Hartman tracked down former Ramsay Street residents, and Danny was one of them.

David's brief return to Neighbours seems to be his latest TV role, as he is now a voice over artist.
